WOMEN GOLFERS’ TOUR
Team of Five to be Sent (Received February 14, 5.5 p.m.) London, February 14. The Ladies’ Golf Union emphasises that the players invited for the Australian and New Zealand tour will be reduced to five before the departure. Those selected at present are the most prominent international players, but more may be considered, if they reveal form in coming fixtures, particularly the open championship. The team leaves on July 12, arrives at Fremantle on August 13, and spends six weeks in Australia and three weeks z in New Zealand.
