PORTRAIT OF KING
Painting For Australia London, February 14. Mr. John Berrie has completed a full-sized Jubilee portrait of his Majesty, commissioned by the Australian Government. The painting will be shipped to Australia shortly. The King is in khaki with the British lion in the background. Mr. Berrie described the King as a perfect sitter. Mr. Berrie once protested that the cinemas screened old poor quality pictures of his Majesty, which were a national disgrace. He suggested the use of a new portrait annually.
