Centenary Falls in 1938 In the course of his panegyric at the Month’s Mind service for the late Archbishop Redwood, at St. Mary of the .Angels’ Church, Wellington, on Wednesday, tlie Rt. Rev. Dr. Al. J. Brodie, Bishop of Christchurch, said that in 1938 there would fall the centenary of the first celebration on these shores of Hie sacrifice of the mass. On that occasion, said his Lordship, the name of Archbishop Redwood must claim honoured mention. His wonderful- life from 1839 to 1935 had nearly spanned the century, and, moreover, he had been closely associated with the progress of tlie faith from the earliest pioneering days to the wonder 1 lul ecclesiastical organisation of the present day.
