VICE-REGAL VISIT
Palmerston North To-day Palmerston North, February 14. His Excellency the Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, will arrive at 11.30 a.m. to-morrow on his farewell visit to Palmerston North, and, after a short rest, he will inspect Bledisloe Park and Massey College. Members of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association will present a farewell address to his Excellency at 12.15 at the offices, but the proposed civic* luncheon has been cancelled in accordance with his Excellency's wishes to spare the ratepayers’ expense. The civic reception will take place in the Square, and the guest will depart for Wellington at 3.16. School children from standards, four, five and six. and the secondary school students, will assemble at the civic* reception.
