Employees on Strike MEAT SHORTAGE LIKELY Brisbane, February 14. The members of the three unions employed by tlie Brisbane abattoirs have decided to remain on strike until their demands for higher wages, shorter hours, and longer holidays are granted. As the result of the strike Brisbane will be faced with a meat shortage at the week-end and chilled beef exports will be stopped.
