Famous Castlerock Romneys TOP PRICE 210 GUINEAS By Telegraph.—Press Association. Invercargill, February 13. One of the most successful sales of stud sheep held in New Zealand in recent years was conducted to-day, when the famous Castleroek Romneys were sold at unreserved public auction. 'There was an attendance of 1500,'including buyers from all parts of the Dominion. Prices exceeded expectations, nd were in many eases remarkable, even allowing'for . the excellence of the. sheep. The" top price was 210 guineas for a ram. the gntmlson of Bainfield 88. the purchaser being Mr. D. Ross, Wanganui. This is the highest pt ice paid at an auction for a ram this year. One-shear rams sold at up to b-> guineas, and five-year-old rams to 4guineas.
