Permission For Erection Sought Permission to build ita hall in Lower Hutt with an easement to the stop-bank was sought by the Hutt Valley Horticultural Society in a letter received at yesBoard _ terday’s meeting of the Hutt River The chairman, Mr. F. J. Jones, said the first thing to do was" to refer the question to the engineer for a report and to the board’s solicitor. “I don’t think wo can do anything else in the meantime. We want some facts before we can give any considered opinion," he said.
