Billiard Championship The presentation of the championship cup and trophies won in the Wellington City and Suburban Billiards and Snooker League to the St. George team was made on Monday night by Mr. F. W. I osseler on behalf of Billiards, Ltd. In presenting the cup to Mr. J. McDonald, Mr. Vosseler drew attention to. the team s record of having no defeats in 24 matches and of having a greater winning margin than any previous winner. Special mention was made of the outstanding performances of Air. F. Wienberg. This presentation marks the end of the 1934-35 competitive season, and no ofiicial tournaments will now be scheduled for approximately ten weeks. .The coming billiards season will, it is anticipated, be ushered in with McConachy-Lindrum engagements, and will culminate with clun, provincial, and national championships.
