Mr. J. B. Purcell, postmaster, Wellington South, has received notice of his transfer, on promotion, to the position of postmaster, Fellding. Mr. Purcell is a member of the management committee of the New Zeiihiud Post and Telegraph Officers’ Guild; also hon. treasurer of the Island Bay Bowling Club, and a niemlier of the Island Bay School Committee.
