TO STAND TRIAL
Menacing Letter to the King HADDON ALLOWED BAIL London, December 12. Clarence Gay Gordon Haddon pleaded not guilty to a charge of uttering, while knowing the contents thereof, a letter demanding money from the King with menaces and without reasonable or probable cause. He reserved his defence. ' Haddon said he. had never had any criminal intention. He was committed for trial and allowed bail on an undertaking" not to send any further communications.
