TO JOIN AIR FORCE
Three New Zealanders LEAVING ON ROTORUA Three New Zealanders are leaving for England on the Rotorua to-morrow to- take up positions in the Royal Air Force. Mr. John Darling Dialing, a pupil of Christ’s College, is going to take up a cadetship at the R.A.F. College, Cranwell, with the intention of gaining a permanent commission. The other two youths are Messrs. Innes A. Shaw and Melville H. S. InnesJones, .both of Hamilton, who are,leaving to take up aircraft apprenticeships in the Air Force, under the scheme whereby up to six apprenticeships may be granted half-yearly to New Zealanders. On arrival in England, Messrs. Shaw and Innes-Jones will go to the Halton Training Establishment.
