ANNUAL MEETING
Plimmerton Branch, W.C.T.U. ’The Plimmerton branch of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union met recently. Mrs, Hooper, the president, was in the chair. Addresses were given by Mrs.'Halliday, Johnsonville, on “t>he advantages of wearing the white ribbon bow,’’,and. by Mrs. Wallace, Palmerston, on the work of the Willard Home. A solo was sung by Mrs. Ashworth. At the election of oflieers for 1934 Mrs. Hooper was returned as president. and Mrs. Hill as secretary. t Afternoon tea was served, and a “bring and buy” stall did good business.
