NATIONAL RESERVE
Lyall Bay-Kilbirnie Branch Mrs. Fred Boyd was unanimously elected president at the annual meeting held recently of the Lyall BayKilbirnie branch of the Women's National Reserve. The annual report and balancesheet were adopted. The resignation of Mrs: Lloyd, secretary, was received with regret and a vote of appreciation of her work since the inception of the branchijwas passed. She was also presented with a bouquet by Mrs. Boyd.
Mrs. • Taylor was elected . vicepresident and Miss Gwen Boyd was elected secretary. Mrs. .Jackson was elected (treasurer and Mr. A. McNichoison was thanked for his assistance as auditor. The following committee - was elected-Mesdames Beard, Nicholson, Grant, McKay and Climo. Mrs. Grant was welcomed'back after-a long absence owing to ill-health. Mrs. Porter spoke briefly upon the constitution and rules of the reserve and the various activities carried on by-the members. Mrs. Boyd, assisted by her daughters, served afternoon tea. Mrs. Boyd, Mrs. Grant and Mrs. Porter were presented with bouquets.
