B Grade Championship Trial
The Poneke Amateur Cycling Club will conduct a B grade championship time trial this afternoon at Kllbirnie, starting at 2.30. The course will be two circuits of the Breaker Bay cutting route, approximately 23 miles. The riders will be dispatched at oneminute intervals, and no pacing will be allowed. Riders who have started off scratch and made fastest time during the road season will not be allowed to compete. The present holder, J. King, will not defend his title.
Riders’ starting positions have been drawn by the handicapper, and riders must stnrt according to the drawing, which is as follows: IV. Mitchell. T. Bergh, 11. Houston, D. Rose, J. Bolton, W. Entries for the. Palmerston-Welling-ton race will close on Saturday at 5 p.m.
