Championship Final To-day
The Soccer season will conclude to-day, when the final of the senior championship will be played nt the Kilbirnie Stadium between Petone and Marist. The Alf Williams Cup will be bracketed with the championship, the winners receiving both the championship shield anti the cup. This game shojjld provide a great windup to the season. Petone and Marist are evenly matched, and as both teams play a fast and spectacular game high-class football can be expected. In the event of a draw after ninety minutes’ play, ten minutes extra each way will be played, the extra time to count only for the Williams Cup.
