Golfers Entertained
“Virginia,” St. John’s Hill, Wanganui, was the scene of a pleasant afternoon given to visiting golfers by Mrsand Miss Hatrick. The big hall was decorated with scarlet lilies, while Iceland poppies were used in the dining room, and roses and lilac in the drawing room. During the afternoon, Mrs. Leo. Campion and Miss Hanna, of Auckland, sang a number of songs. The accompaniments were played by Mrs. 11. D. Robertson, who also gave several pianoforte solos. Nearly 100 guests were present.
