FAREWELL PARTY
Mr. R. Ellis Honoured A pleasant evening was s[>ent on Wednesday at the residence of Air. W. F. Harvey, Friend Street, Karori, when his son, John, gave a farewell party for Air. Ron Ellis, who is leaving Wellington for some considerable time.
The drawingroom was gay with howls of brightly-hued tulips, and a supper was served in the diningroom, the tables being decorated with Iceland poppies. The evening was spent with bridge and dancing.
Those present wore Misses Vai. Kelly. Muriel Hunt. Alickic Shephard. Phyllis Kerruish, Diana Waters, Paddy Hope Gibbons. Pat Gledhill. Nancy Waters, Kathleen Hall. Messrs. R. Ellis. G. Blythe. Al. Evison, J. Aladden, D. Illingworth, I. Evlson, T. Forgie, D. Brookman. and F Rowe.
