Nicol and Singleton Win

Two professional contests over ten rounds were staged by the Southland Boxing Association at the Civic Theatre this evening. In the first Ray Nicol (12.4) defeated Eddie Parker (121) on points, and in the other bout, G. Singleton (13.8) defeated Billy Sullivan (12.6), ou points. A six-round preliminary between A. Daslcr (11.6), of Blenheim, the amateur heavyweight champion, and W. Pascoe (12.1), was won by Dasler on points. _____
