GIRLS’ MUSIC CLUB
At the recent monthly musicale held by the Palmerston North Girls’ Music Club in 2ZF studio, the memory of the renowned composer and pianist, Johannes Brahms, was honoured. Decorations of winter berries and greenery made the studio most attractive. '
Those who contributed to the programme were Mrs. H. Dean, Misses N. Whalley, V. Corke, L. McDonald, C. McGibbon, I. Clarke, G. Laureuson, B. Oakley, V. Gunter, M. Buchanan, F. Hornley, E. Clarke, E. Corke, M. Dumbleton, D. Junker, Avis Arrow (Hopelands), E. Trask, M. Muirhead, M. Gray, M. Muirhead, B. Miller, Mesdames R. Law, Collier, and J. K. Paton. The visitors welcomed were Mesdames N. Stubbs, Downs, and Gordon Gibbs, of Palmerston North, Miss McFarlane (Sanson), Misses R. Moody and Arrow (Woodville), and Misses E. Eyre .and Lancaster (Palmerston North). Members present included Mesdames 11. Piccard, A. S. Bayliss, R. R. Johnstone (Woodville), Henderson, Eilers (Pahiatua), R. Laurenson, Murdoch, Misses A. Turner, J. Paton, N. Wood, C.
