COIN AFTERNOON
Hutt Methodist Guild A successful coin afternoon, organised by the Lower Hutt Methodist Ladies’ Guild, was held on Thursday afternoon. The schoolroom was gay with hydrangeas and chrysanthemums. Vocal items by Mrs. Sharp and Mrs. A. Johnston were appreciated. Mrs. Sharp gave a reading. Mrs. W. Hall and Mrs. Ackhurst were in charge of the afternoon tea arrangements, and produce, plain sewing, and cake stalls were supervised over by Mesdames Saunders. Fothergill, Teasdill and Shearer.
