Defeat of Mr. D. W. Coleman By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, May 3. For t he Gisborne Mayoralty Mr. John Jackson. Citizens’ candidate, was given 2657 votes. Mr. D. W. Coleman, M.P , Labour, received 2300, while Mr. S. V. Beaufoy, unofficial Labour, received 849.
