Sitting Mayor Returned By Telegraph—Press Association. Invercargill, May 3. For tlie mayoralty, Mr. John Miller (sitl ing mayor) was returned with 54.13 votes. Mr. J. D. Campbell secured 3179 votes. i A poll to decide tlie early closing day resulted in Saturday, tlie present half-holiday, being retained by 5229 votes. For Wednesday 3477 votes were given.
