NEED FOR EXTENSION
Work of Protection Society The executive committee of the New Zealand Society for the Protection of Women and Children met on Friday. Members present were Mesdames Forde, Line, Fraser, O'Shea, Norman Jones, Wright, Harley Brown, and Miss Telfer. The president, Mrs. Hunter, was in the chair. A warm welcome was given Miss Kirk on her return from her holiday. The usual routine work was dealt ■with. The secretary reported cases that had been brought under her notice while she was away, showing the great need for the extension of this work in the outlying districts.
