MOXHAM AVENUE
Dangerous Intersection
IMPROVEMENT URGED
“This is one of the most congested and dangerous corners in the whole metropolitan area to-day,” said Mr. E. A. Batt, at a meeting of the executive of the Wellington Automobile Club last evening, when referring to the intersection of Moxham Avenue and Tunnel Road, at Hataitai. Mr. Batt said that another rather serious accident had taken place there last Saturday. He considered that unless the corner were altered, it would continue to constitute a most serious danger, not only to motorists, but also to pedestrians. It was decided that the roads committee of the club should wait on tlie works committee of the City Council as soon as tlie new council had been returned, and make representations regarding further alterations to the corner.
