LORRY’S FATAL SKID
Elderly Man Killed WILLIS STREET ACCIDENT Following on an accident in Ihe city at 11.30 yesterday morning an elderly man, Maurice Cronin, living in Ghuznee Street, died in hospital five hours later.
Severe injuries to the skull were received when Mr. Cronin was knocked down by a skidding motor-lorry in Willis Street, opposite the Hotel St. George. After being attended to by tlie Free Ambulance the patient was removed unconscious to the hospital, where lie died at 4.30 o'clock in the afternoon.
