The Madrid correspondent, of “The Times” says the first incendiarism in connection with the strike at Barcelona is believed to have caused the destruction by fire of two important construction companies' depots. Troops quelled disorder in the streets. The Civil Governor closed the headquarters of the building syndicates and made additional arrests. Four have been killed and twelve wounded since the strike began. Ninety-seven recalcitrant miners emerged exhausted from a mine at Cardona after spending twelve days underground.
