Story of Reconstruction “DOMINION’S” SURVEY Napier has made a remarkable recovery from the effects of the disastrous earthquake and fire of just under two years ago. To celebrate its reconstruction, an important carnival has been arranged, which commences on Saturday. “The Dominion” will commemorate the occasion by issuing a special 'New Napier number, in which the reconstruction of the centre will be fully reviewed. Numerous views of the reconstructed town illustrate the text of the number, which will provide a complete record of the remarkable progress' made by Napier since the earthquake. It will lie published as a supplement to tomorrow’s (Friday’s) issue of ‘‘The Dominion.” DANNEVIRKE SHOW Strong Jersey Section The Jerseys arc always a strong section of the cattle classes at the Danncvirke A. and I’.
