Opening Day’s Results
Palmerston North, Dec. 14. The following are the results of the Palmerston North Gun Club s opening shoot of the season — No. 1 sweepstakes: W. A. Thomson, possible, 10; M. Kearins, 9; P. A. Meehan. W. W. Cook, Father Broughton, 8; N. D. Stubbs, 7. No. 2 sweepstake: W. A. Thomson, 10; P. A. Meehan and W. W. Cook,' 9. W. A. Thomson secured a 9 in the first round for the Duoui Cup and a 10 in th<j second round. Father Broughton and W. W. Cook each secured a 10 in the first round, the former, securing a 6 and the latter a 7 in the second round.
