Hutt Club Matches A bogey competition, played on the Hutt links during the week-end. was won by J S. Pym (Titahi), from the 2 mark, with a card showing 3 down. A stroke competition was won by D. E. •T. Whyte, with 85—16—69. A. H. Dyke, the Hutt professional, did a brilliant round of 72 in this competition, off scratch, and tied for second place with H. K. .Adamson, 78—6—72. Bishop, 85—10—75, and J. F. Taylor, 93—18—75, tied for first place. In tbe play-off, Taylor won with a net 70. The next best cards were:—K. Jeffery, 87—10 —77 : J. Melvin, 91—12— 79; D. J. Cornwell, 96—1S —82; E. McCarroll. 97—14—53. D. Hebeuton has. reached the final for the Saturday morning cup competition. A. W. Press and J. N. Millard have still to meet in the other semi-final. MANOR PARK CLUB A bogey competition, played on the Manor Park links during the week-end was won by J. L. Barnard, with 2 down. A stroke competition resulted in a win for E. W. Brockett, with 74 nett. zA. four-ball best-ball competition ended in a tie between C. M. Duthie and A. G. McGowan, and V. Hay and D. L. Harrison. both of whom were 4 up.
