LAMBS DECREASE

Smaller Ewe Flock

FIGURES FOR DOMINION Owing to a decrease in the ewe flock, a drop is recorded in the estimated number of lambs for the Dominion for the present season, according to figures supplied on Saturday by the Minister of Hon. C. E. Macmillan. The estimated proportion of lambs to breeding ewes for the season is, however, higher than it has been for some years. The following tables give the Dominion figures and the totals for each island for the last six seasons:— North Island.
