SPORT OF GLIDING
Camp to be Held at Hastings BOXING DAY TO NEW YEAR Gliding enthusiasts from many clubs will attend the annual camp of the New Zealand Gliding Association, which will be held at Hastings from December 26 to January 1, 1933. The camp will be held on tiie Heretaunga Gliding Club’s ground, which has every facility for flying. There is ample room for launched gliding and two very large paddocks suitable for motor-towed gliding. Each club is to provide its own machines, but the Heretauuga club has decided to allow visitors the use of its gliders if their club has been unable to send its machine. This offer, however, only applies to those with sufficient Hying experience and who produce a letter of recommendation from their club instructor. Accommodation is being provided for all attending the eamp. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Gliding Association will be held at the camp on December 31.
