The newly-formed Wellington Ladies’ Cricket Association made a start with competition matches on Saturday. Technical Waratahs, 152 for one wicket (!’. Cook 62. J. Mack 41 retired. T. Jurd 38 not out), beat St. Johns, 62 (M. Clifford 15). Technical Huia defeated Y.ALC.A._ by 27 runs. For Technical Hula, D. Nash scored 53 not out, and P. Brogan 19.-
