QUILTS FOR THE POOR
In response to appeals for "Peggy Squares” with which to make quilts, a number of quilts have been sent to the Salvation Army for distribution among the needy. These gifts have been greatly appreciated. A “special quilt,” made by tbe Brooklyn Girl Guides, has b->eu presented to the Wellington Girls’ Home. 'These gifts, It is stated, help the Army to meet a great need and bring much happiness to people who arc in real distress.
