Makura This Morning
The Union Company has received a wireless message from its R.M.S. Makura, en route from Sydney to Wellington, reporting that she expects to arrive in the stream at 7 o’clock this morning. She will berth immediately at No. 1 north Queen’s Wharf, where she will be cleared by the Port Health and Customs authorities. The Makura has on board about 160 passengers and brings 133 bags of mail and 74 parcel-receptacles for Wellington. She is timed to leave here again at 3 p.m. to-morrow for San San Francisco, via Rarotonga and Papeete.
