KAWARAU GOLD
Rich Yields Assured
METAL SHOWING FREELY
By Telegraph.—Press Association.
Dunedin, Oct. 29. A report received from Cromwell to-day states that prospects in the recently-opened claims at Kawarau Gorge are, if anything, better than ever.
In Bell and Party’s sluicing claim vastly improved prospects have been struck in solid wash.
This morning gold was showing freely in the wash on the bottom and in boxes. In Bell and Hooper’s tunnel a wide area of wash has been proved, and wash previously taken out is now being put through boxes with splendid results.
Bell and Hooper’s claim is also yery promising, and some rich yields from all three areas seem to be assured.
