ST. MATTHEW’S GIRLS

Annual Sports Meeting Held SATURDAY’S GATHERING Dominion Special Service. Masterton, Oct. 30. Girls of St. Matthew’s Collegiate School, Masterton, held their annual sports meeting at the school grounds yesterday afternoon, the gathering proving a highly successful one. A large attendance of parents and friends of the girls was presifut, much interest being taken iu all the events. The senior championship was won by Enid Sutherland, with 16 points, Bessie Smith being runner-up with 14 points. Jessica Durrad secured junior championship with 20 points, with Betty Peacock runner-up with 7 points. _ The Sellar Cup was won by E. Prior with lb points, L. Beetham with 14 points being second. Points prize in senior non-cham-pionship events was won by J. Hornabrook, 20 points, with Mary Evans, 12 points, runner-up.
