ACTRESS IN TROUBLE
Diana Wilson Bankrupt
A London cablegram published in tbe “Sydney Morning Herald” last week stated that Aliss Diana AVilson, the actress, had been examined in the Bankruptcy Court. Her liabilities were £26SG, and her assets £56. Aliss AVllson, who was in New Zealand with “Lightnin” and other companies some years ago, testified that she received £5O a week in Australia. Her failure she attributed to lack of engagements since 192 G, and to entertaining beyond her means during the last three years, during which period she had spent £625 in that direction. She mentioned that a first night party usually cost her £4O, as the guests drank such a lot.
