DANCE AT PALMERSTON
■ The recent dance held by the Tenlkolt Club in the P.D.C. ballroom at Palmerston North was an enjoyable gathering. The ballroom presented a charming picture, the decorations being carried out under the direction of Aliss Aisla Turner. Irises, Iceland poppies, and arum lilies were ou tali stands, golden kowhai graced the tables, and prunus leaves and flax were In the ballroom. Tire lounge was decorated with ranunculus and maidenhair fern. Extras were played by Miss Nancy Nathan. A delicious supper was served, after which balloons were distributed among the dancers. The capable committee comprised Aliss Enid Nathan (secretary), who wore peach sattn; .Mrs. L. K. Andrews, cherry lace; Airs. W. Sutton, pale pink georgette; Miss Joan Barnett, beige net and lace; also Messrs. L. K. Andrews, W. Sutton, G. Hankin, and J. T. McDonald.
