TTSHERING in a period of prosperity to more than 7500 Hollywood extra players, and providing employment to several thousand artisans and technical workers, filming has begun on Cecil B. De Mille’s “The Sign of the Cross,” at the Paramount studios. Because of its spectacular nature, the picture will utilise the services of thousands during two and a half months of production. “The Sign of the Cross,” successor to “The Ten Commandments” and “King of Kings,” will feature Fredric March, Elissa Landi, Claudette Colbert, Charles Laughton, lan Keith. Vivienne Tobin, and Tommy Conlon.
