RUGBY LEAGUE TEST
England v. New Zealand. TO-MORROW’S CONTEST The English Rugby League team will meet a New Zealand team on the Winter Show Grounds, Wellington, tomorrow afternoon. Nearly 7000 people witnessed the second Test at Christchurch last Saturday, and there will be accommodation for thousands at the Wellington match to-morrow. The third Test will be played at Auckland next Saturday. The following members of the British Rugby League team have been chosen to meet the New Zealand side to-mor-row:— Backs: Sullivan, Atkinson, Pollard, Woods, Evans, Brogden. Forwards: Williams, Lowe, Wright, Fender, Fildes, Horton, Feetham. R. Moisley, of the Celtic League Club, is the only Wellington player who has been chosen for inclusion in the New Zealand team to meet the English team to-morrow. He and other members of the New Zealand team will be having a practice to-day. The visitors will also practise. As a curtain-raiser to-morrow a Hutt Valley team will play Wellington. For this game the players will be as follow :-— Wellington: Simons (captain), Mailman, Harris, Armstrong, Foote, Still, Thompson, Ward. McDermott. Chalmers, McNicol, F. McKenzie, McKewen. Manager, Mr. W. C. Hunt. Hutt Valley: Sterling, Estall, Arnold, Bryant, O'Connor, A.Brown, Radcliffe, Blddell. Pilcher, Kreyl (captain), Brader, Boswell Dobson. Manager, Mr. B. Duncan. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS In connection with the League football match, England versus New Zealand, at Wellington to-morrow, the Railway Department announces that the afternoon train to Masterton will be delayed to leave Wellington at 5.35 p.m.
