TRANS-TASMAN FLIGHT
Mr J. T. Pethybridge Coming FOURTH MEMBER OF CREW According io advice received in l Wellington, the fourth member of the crew of the Southern Cross on Sir Charles Kingsford Smith's trans-Tasman flight next month will be Mr. J. T. Pethybridge, formerly Australian National Airways’ chief ground engineer in Tasmania. Mr. Pethybridge is one of the bestknown engineers in Australian aviation, and was previously engaged in other centres. In addition, he holds a professional pilot’s license. The four provisionally selected to make the flight are: Sir Charles Kingsford Smith, pilot; Mr. G. U. Allan, co-pilot; Mr. J. W. Stannage, wireless, operator; and Mr. J. T. Pethybridge, engineer.
