New Idea in Chelsea DINNERS BY THE BOWL Dominion Special Service. (By Mavis.) London, January 5. Chelsea, the home of new ideas and eccentricities, has opened a dog restaurant. Women dog-lovers, and men, too, for that matter, may be seen going into the shop accompanied by their four-footed friends to buy them a meal. 'Outside the restaurant appears the following notice: — DINNERS FOR DOGS. 3d Bowl for Small Dogs. ■ld Bowl for Large Dogs. s<l Bowl for Out-size Dogs. The dinners include raw and cooked meat, brown bread, and vegetables. A COLD SAVOURY A "Prunes a la Montpelier'’ is an excellent cold savoury. Required: Six prunes, 6 small rounds of fried bread. 2oz. butler, 2oz. spinach, loz. parsley, 2 hard-boiled eggs. 1 teaspoonful capers, 2 anchovies. 2 gherkins. Method: Stew the prunes until tender in water witli a little vinegar and salt. Cook the spinach and parsley together, when tender drain, and chop finely. Mix it with tlie chopped gherkins, capers, anchovies, yolks of eggs and butter. Rub the mixture through a sieve. Make a slit in the side of the prunes and remove the stones. Neatly pipe the mixture inside the prunes. Place them on the bread and sprinkle chopped white of egg round.
