Eight-ball Bogey PLAY ON SHANDON LINKS In the eight-ball bogey played on the Shandon links on Saturday afternoon A. J. Kuncimen, It. I*. Poole and E. McCarroll all finished 3 up ou the colonel; L. The L.G.U. medal competition was won by Miss Priestley, 109 (handicap 36), 73 net. Miss Thompson, 102 (handicap 28), 71 net, was second. MIRAMAR CLUB At, Miramar ou Saturday the first important event ou the season’s programme, the captain’s prize, attracted a large number of competitors. The conditions were the 16 best net scores in the A or B grades, and the 16 best in the C grade to qualify, ami play off by foursome handicap match play, an A or B grade player to partner a C grade player. In the A grade the best net score was returned by Hurst and Black, who each dill a 75: in the B's. Halley card read 68 net: and in the 0 grade Bohan did a 69.
