Wanganui Union Meets

Dominion Special Service.

Wanganui, April 9.

The annual meeting of the Wanganui branch of the League of Nations Union was bold in St. Paul s Hall tonight, and was very largely attended. The proceedings opened with the National Anthem and the Lord’s Prayer. The following committee was elected President, Rev. J. Paterson, M.A.; vice-presidents, W. J. Rogers, A. Goldsbury, Milne-Allen, Dr. G. 11. Robertson, and J. Brailsford: committee, Mrs. Morton Forman, Rev. J. Young, Mr. and Mrs. A. Douglass, Rev. Kerr, W. Jenkins. S. J. Harris, J. Grant, C. Goldsbury, Misses Currie, M.A., Rowe, and E. Graham; lion, secretary and treasurer, Miss Cole. At the close of the business meeting delightful items were given by Mrs. P. B. Luxford. Misses Gammon and B. Masters, and the children of the Friends’ School.
