The official opening of the Solway Golf Club’s links for the winter season took place on Saturday afternoon in fine weather. There was a large attendance of members of the club and their friends. In the absence of the patron. Mr. T. Jordan, the links were declared open for the season by Mr. L. A. Wadham, vicepresident, following which a Canadian foursome was played.
