Relief to be “Mobilised”
Washington, September 1 The appointment is announced of Mr. Owen D. Young as chairman of a committee “on the mobilisation of relief resources” to co-ordinate the collection of funds for the unemployed in the coming winter.
Mr. Owen D. Young Is best known for the part he has played In International affairs and his concern over questions of American policy abroad. He was a leader In the drafting of both the Dawes plan of reparations payments, while the Young Plan is named after him.
