France and New Hebrides CESSION NOT INTENDED (Rec. June 19,8 p.m.) London, June 18. The “Morning Poet’s” diplomatic correspondent understands that following an original suggestion from France, secret, negotiations recently have been progressing between France and Great Britain with a view to the latter’s cession of rights In the New Hebrides, but there is no Intention of acceding, as Australian interests there must be considered.
