U.S. Secretary in London Official Wireless. Rugby, June 18. The United States Secretary of the Treasury, Mr. Andrew Mellon, who is In London on an Informal visit, was visited at his hotel to-day by Mr; Montague Norman, Governor of the Bank of England, who remained for luncheon. Mr. Mellon, who had a talk at the House of Commons yesterday with the Prime Minister and the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Arthur Henderson, had a further interview with these Ministers this afternoon. REASONS FOR VISIT Discussion of War Debts London, June 18. The “Daily Express’s” diplomatic correspondent says that Mr. Mellon has been engaged since his arrival In a series of conferences, to which great Importance Is attached In political and financial circles. He has had two long interviews with Mr. Ramsay MacDonald. The diplomatic correspondent proceeds to say that Mr. Mellon was Invited to London to discuss the revision of war debts.
