Charge of Negligence By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, May 6. In the Supreme Court to-day Leslie Norman Mclntosh was charged with negligently driving a motor-car on the Main North Road, thereby causing the death of George H. Garbutt. The Crown Prosecutor said that at o’clock on the night of January 25 Garbutt, a chemist, of Kaiapoi, was kiuen near the northern approach to the \vaimakariri Bridge. Carbutt, riding a motor-cycle, passed a .taxi travelling J lOl ] 1 Christchurch and was fifty yards ahead.
