Miss Wallace, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. Cranwell, Hamilton. Miss Margaret Miles returned yesterday from Christchurch. Miss Illa Jacobsen, of Wellington, is staying in Christchurch for a few days. Mrs. Barron and Miss Barron, are visiting Timaru. Mrs. M. Patterson, Wellington, will leave shortly for a visit to Auckland. Mrs. W. A. Valentine is visiting Christchurch. Mrs. Shaller Weston, of Wellington, is at Napier, Captain and Mrs. Fraser, of Wellington, are visiting Napier. Miss Mackay Sim is a' Wellington visitor to Christchurch, Miss Ema Reid, of Wellington, is spending a holiday at the Marlborough Sounds. Miss Janet Miles has returned to Wellington from Christchurch. Miss Sheila Todd, of Wellington, it spending a short holiday in Dunedin. Mrs. Hiddlestone, of Wellington, is a holiday visitor to Dunedin. Misses A. and E. Vickennan, of Wellington, are staying in Auckland. Miss Buckeley, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. Cedric Herdman, in Auckland. Mrs. Caro, who has been the guest of Mrs. C. K. Ward, Wellington, has returned to Napier; Mrs. Alan Thompson, of Upper Hutt, and her infant daughter, are spending a few weeks in Christchurch. Sir Edward and Lady Gibbs, Lower Hutt, who have been spending a holiday at Paekakariki, have returned home. ■Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Thompson, Hinau Street, Lower Hutt, have returned home from a holiday at Paekakariki. Mrs. Thompson, Auckland, is the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Baldwin, Lyall Bay, Wellington., Miss E. Hughes. Miss Feilding, and Miss E. Craven, who have been visiting Christchurch, have returned to Wellington. , Recent Wellington guests at the White Star Hotel, Queenstown, were:—Mr. W. H.
